As a Registered Charity run by a team of committed volunteers and supported by equally enthusiastic swimmers of all ages, HCSP has a very special place in the community providing a space to enjoy many of the positive activities fundamental to our wellbeing. To maintain our unique place in the community our fund-raising events bring in much needed resources but local business sponsorship could also really make a difference. How It All Began

In 1974, through the combined efforts of parents, teachers, and volunteers from the local community, the pool was dug out and officially opened. Ever since, this invaluable resource has been run by dedicated volunteers, all committed to maintaining the original aim: providing children with a safe space to learn to swim and offering the community a recreational facility to enjoy.
